Habs Talk: Habs continue hot streak under Julien, by Andrew Saadalla A sixth consecutive victory if just the tip of the iceberg for a team that has been unified and more confident than ever.

I'm liking the new style of play under Julien. It hopefully translates to playoff success. Also seems like CJ makes better use of guys like Shaw.

Also,
LOVE this Joe Benn guy.

Yes to everything above. It's still a highly-defensive system, but the team's counterattack is just that much better. CJ knows how to use his players at the right times and under the right circumstances.

I wonder if there are any critics

Yes I agree. Everyone crucified MT for being too defensive but in reality CJ is even more so. But I like the overload the puck strategy in the D zone for a quick out to the F's. With the speed of this team this style should fit very well.

And it's a shame that MT didn't realize that sooner, because even CJ said himself that he would only bring "slight" adjustments and tweaks. I don't know if he was just being humble, but he sure made the hell out of those "slight" changes!

The difference in this resurgence is communication, something that was never MT's strong suit. CJ always said that this team needs to believe that it's good, that the players have to remember that they ARE good, and I think he convinced them.
